Who we are

Zounya SEO ("we", "us") is an AI-assisted SEO content platform operated by Zounya. This policy explains what data we process when you use the service at seo.zounya.com and the blogs we publish on your behalf. Contact: marketing@zounya.com.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and, for team members, their email addresses. Passwords are stored only as salted argon2 hashes.
• Website data you connect: the public pages of the website you add, crawled to build your business profile and content plan.
• Search Console data:when you connect Google Search Console, we read your pages' clicks, impressions, position and index status to improve your content. Read-only.
• Connected social/publishing accounts: when you connect Facebook, Instagram, or WordPress, we store an access token (encrypted at rest) used solely to publish the articles and posts you create.
• Usage data: quotas consumed, jobs run, and audit events for security.

Facebook & Instagram data

If you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, we request only the permissions needed to publish content on your behalf (managing your Page's posts and publishing Instagram content). We use the resulting Page access token exclusively to publish the posts you generate in Zounya SEO. We do not read your private messages, we do not post without a triggering article, and we do not sell or share this data. You can disconnect at any time from the Publishing screen, which deletes the stored token.

How we use data

To operate the service: analyze your site, generate and publish articles, publish derived social posts to accounts you connect, measure performance, and secure your account. We never use your connected-account data for advertising or profiling.

Storage & security

Data is stored on our servers in isolated per-tenant records. Access tokens and connector credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM envelope encryption. We retain raw crawled HTML only transiently; business profiles and analytics are kept while your account is active.

Your rights & deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To delete your data, see our Data Deletion instructions or email marketing@zounya.com. Disconnecting a Facebook/Instagram/WordPress account removes its stored token immediately.

Third parties

We rely on service providers to deliver features: Anthropic and OpenAI (article generation), Google (Search Console, PageSpeed), Meta (Facebook/Instagram publishing), and Stripe (billing). Each processes data only to provide its function.

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the app.
